Weekly photo challenge – Forces of Nature

The Atlantic ocean is one of those forces of nature that have shaped Ireland’s coastline. Millennia of waves grinding cliffs to stone and eventually sand. Looking at such natural processes one is reminded how old the earth is, and how little time the human race has spent here.

  1. Aha – so the theme of the sea’s majestic shape changing and how we have developed on earth only during the most recent blink in its history. Perhaps food for a short story, after all, though I fear you’d be much better equipped. What wonderful pictures – good for the soul.
