Edge – Weekly photo challenge

Erris Head lies on the NW coast of County Mayo, Ireland. I chose this photo because of the way the old fence posts are lying precariously on the edge of the cliff. You can read more and see other photographs from Erris Head on my other blog site, Murtagh’s Meadow.

  1. Reminds me of Janine’s and my walk along the cliffs of County Claire. Cliff edges were crumbling in places in the first day of our three-day hike. Lots of warning signs. Loved the emphasis on public walkways and the pleasure of taking part in an Ireland tradition. Only got rained on once!
