This bright red pedestrian bridge takes both walkers and cyclist over the Castlebar River along the Turlough-Castlebar Greenway here in Co Mayo.
I am not a great distance traveller. For me I get as much wandering down a local beach as going to some foreign country. Don’t get me wrong, I love to explore new places and cultures, but I find the actual travelling stressful and like my home-comforts too much!
This is one of my favourite Mayo beaches.
Downpatrick head on the NW coast of County Mayo here in the West of Ireland has some of the most dramatic sea cliffs you can find in Ireland. It was a bit foggy the day this picture was taken.
Inspired by this week’s Photo Challenge – Atop
I love being at the beach any day but last week the light was extra special. This week’s weekly photo challenge is – ambience.
