Relax — give me a day at the beach any day but especially in the summer – heaven!!

At this time of year we expect some frosty mornings, after all it is winter. But a whole week of frosty mornings is quite unusual for the West of Ireland.

I am lucky to live in the countryside. Around my local area small farms are common. They are mostly small cattle farms and an odd horse here and there peering through a hedgerow.
As autumn takes it grip I get nostalgic for summer days on the beach.

Well we’ve been having a lot of fun this summer building sandcastles. It hasn’t been a great summer but there have been enough warm days to venture to the seaside. We have many lovely beaches here on the west coast of Ireland. Here are some of our fun building projects.
